Below the dragon Nidhogg chews away at the roots, seeking to destroy the tree itself. It was among the boughs of Yggdrasil that the gods created Midgard, the land of men. Pleased with their creation, the gods built a home of their own. Far above our world, they constructed the mighty city of Asgard. It was here the gods would feast and reign until the end of time, with Odin king above all. [x]
